About

Lila Rose is a Texas-based ceramic artist whose practice is rooted in earth, connection, and care. Working by hand, she crafts and hand-paints small batches of ceramic goods, each piece shaped slowly and intentionally. Through her project Lilovesrocks, Lila offers her work as a gesture of sharing a space where art becomes a meeting point between people, stories, and the land. Much of her work is inspired by the organic cycles of nature and her lived experiences navigating growth, gender and queerness. Her practice is deeply rooted in sustainability; she sources materials from fellow small businesses, minimizes waste in the studio, and fires kiln loads with intention and efficiency. Every decision, from materials to packaging, reflects her commitment to environmental mindfulness and community support. Her work rejects mass production in favor of intentionality and authenticity, offering objects that carry both detailed strokes and imperfections that make them alive. Lila believes that art should be within reach- that knowledge and art are not luxuries, but shared experiences that connect us to one another and to the world around us.
